A workflow is related to the process of reviewing and approving a permit submission before it moves to the next step in the process. As an Admin, you can create and manage your own workflows for the review and closure of Permit operations.
Workflows are of two types – Sequential and Parallel.
Sequential workflow:
In this workflow, permit reviews and actions are done in a step-by step-process from one reviewer to another following a hierarchical order. Change in the state of a permit follows a series of structured approvals.
Parallel workflow:
In this workflow, changes in the state of a permit can be initiated without waiting for prior approvals from personnel higher up the hierarchy chain.
