Incidents can be closed either of the two ways as described below.


  • Incidents that do not require an investigation process can be closed by providing appropriate recommended actions and assigning them to authorized users with a due date for closure. Once all the actions are closed, the system automatically moves the status of the Incident from Open to Closed.



  • Incidents that require investigation can be closed at the end of Step 5 only. Once all the recommended actions in Step 4 are completed, reviewed and closed, the system automatically moves the status of the Incident from Open to Closed.
