Incident details from Step 1 to Step 4 can be edited at periodic intervals only. The restrictions to editing an Incident is described as below.

 

  • You can edit the Rating of an incident only till the Investigation Team is formed. Once the investigation starts, the Rating cannot be edited.

  • You can edit the details of the incident till Step 4 during the process of investigation and until approved. Once approved, editing is locked till Step 4.

  • Once closed, incident details and status of recommended actions should not be edited. However, the Admin can reopen a particular action and re-assign this to a responsible user with a due date, if it does not meet the required criteria for closure.
