What is a Permit to Work template?

Permit to Work (PTW) template is a written or digitized form that implies that one has "permission to work" in a potentially hazardous environment. Safe work templates ensure that your organization is compliant to HSE standards and that all personnel deployed on the field are sufficiently trained and competent to carry out tasks effectively and safely.

A Permit to Work template lays the foundations of running work operations in a safe environment. While creating new templates or forms, ensure that every question, checklist or form corresponds to the type of job required.

Step 1:

To navigate to the permit form page, go to Settings > Permit Templates.

Step 2:

To add a new permit, fill the “Add New Permit” tabular form featured on the right of your screen. Details to add include permit name, description, ID and more. You can also attach an icon for the permit form.

Step 3:

After you have entered the details, submit the form. 

Your new permit form will be listed along with the other forms.
